“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” John 17:3.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16.

“God loves you and he wants you to know him for who he is. This requires that you be saved by him.”

1. We have a serious problem.

The condition of every person is that “we have a sinful heart”, but God is Holy.
“As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one;” Romans 3:10.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23.
Now that we know a sinful heart is our problem, what is the consequence if we ignore the sin in our life? It will be Death! (Eternal separation from God).
“For the wages of sin is death…” Romans 6:23a.
But there is hope for salvation through Jesus Christ.
“…but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23b.

2. Yes, there is hope for us, but only through Jesus Christ.

God loves us and sent Jesus to die for our sins.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this; While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8.

3. What must we do?

We need to be saved by declaring him “Lord” and by faith (believing) in his resurrection.
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10.
Can I be saved too? Yes you can.
“For, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’” Romans 10:13.

4. The Results of Salvation.

There are two positive results after we have confessed that “Jesus Christ is Lord.” and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead.

First, we are justified. (We were guilty but are now innocent and at peace with God.)
“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.” Romans 5:1

Secondly, we can now rejoice that our salvation is real, that we are now saved!
Before faith in Christ, we were condemned to death. But now with faith in Christ, there is no condemnation towards us and we now have eternal life!
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,” Romans 8:1.
“…but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23b.

God’s plan of salvation is possible for you! Would you like to get saved and know God? You can, just ask! Why not ask now!

Ask like this:
Dear Lord Jesus,  I believe you died for my sins on the cross, and that you were buried, and that you arose from the grave on the third day. Because I believe these things to be true, I now repent of my sins with true sorrow, and cry to you for mercy.  Faith in Jesus shed blood on the cross can redeem a man from eternal judgment, and  can reconcile that man to God.  I ask you Lord, “Come into my heart this day, forgive me and renew me.”  In faith I now confess with my mouth, “Jesus Christ is Lord! And in my heart I believe God raised Jesus from the dead! Because I truly believe these words, and because you have promised in your written word, I believe and I now know, I am saved for all eternity!
