What We Believe

  • We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe God the Father is holy, all-powerful, perfectly just, and the sovereign ruler over all.
  • We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, His Father. Luke 2:34, 35.
  • We believe Jesus Christ was born being both fully human, (in flesh) and fully divine (as God). Luke 2:52; Hebrews 2:10; Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 5:8, 9.
  • We believe Jesus Christ lived a sinless life; that he performed miracles, declared his Father and the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, was crucified, buried, and arose from the dead, and that when he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men, and promised his believers that he would come back again.
  • We believe in the atonement for sin, in justification by faith, and regeneration. 1 John 2:2
  • We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit; that He convicts men of sin, righteousness and judgment; and is the active agent in the regeneration of all true believers. He is the comforter, strengthener, the giver of the Spiritual gifts as he wills, and one who gives power to believers; enabling them to witness for Jesus Christ, to live godly lives and to bear fruits that bring glory to God.
  • We believe the great commission was given by Jesus Christ to His church. Matthew 28:18; Mark 16:16-18.
  • We believe the church consists of true believers in Jesus Christ and are members of his body. Jesus Christ is head of the body, which has many parts; and every member of His body drink of one Spirit.
  • We believe the purpose for the local church is to worship God, to fellowship with each other, to teach and to train from God’s word – making disciples to carry on the work of God; to support and send missionaries worldwide, to conduct local evangelism and mission projects;  to help one another, and to help others of our local community.
  • We believe Jesus Christ instituted two ordinances to be observed by the church until His return; Water Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
  • We believe Jesus Christ is coming personally and immanently (about to happen) for his Church. 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17; 2 Thessalonians 2:1, 2.
  • We believe in the Second Advent of Jesus Christ accompanied his angels and saints, and will bring fiery revenge on all of his enemies. And for the gathering of the nations, and separating of the people (sheep and goats)for judgment. Matthew 24:4-5; 11; 23-27; Matthew 24:30-31; Matthew 16:27; Matthew 25:31-46.
  • We believe soon following the return of Jesus Christ at the Second Advent,  the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ will begin. Matthew 19:28.
  • We believe in the final judgment of the unsaved and their punishment in the eternal lake of fire. Revelation 20:11-15.
  • We believe in new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness will dwell forever. Revelation 21:1.

This is not everything we believe, but have given these statement of truth, which are declared in the infallible and inspired written word of God.
